Animal abuse case ends up leading to Pets & Pals (Manteca Bulletin)
LATHROP — It was the mid-1980s. A Lathrop resident was convicted of animal abuse for starving 87 dogs and cats at his property on South Harlan Road. The man subsequently went broke and the two-acre property which had some interesting dog runs came up for sale.
